Meet The Founder
Wendy Bohannon
Owner and Principal
Wendy has been passionate about architecture and design since the age of 7. She graduated from Texas Tech in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and has worked in architectural and interior design ever since. A Registered Interior Designer certified by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners, Wendy specializes in space planning and helping clients create homes that reflect their personal style. She founded Direct Home Design in 2009, later rebranding to Bohannon Design Team in 2019, and balances her love of design with her favorite role — mom to three amazing daughters.
About The Team
Angela Cho
Designer, 3D Design
Angela graduated with a B.F.A. in Interior Design from the University of North Texas in 2019 and a B.A. in Industrial Design from Kyungwon University in Seol, Korea in 2005. Her background also includes clothing and graphic design! Angela is our wizard with all things 3D - she creates the beautiful renderings that help you visualize what your new space could look like. She is very talented with detail work, and also creates a lot of the fine detail design included in our interior elevation drawings. She is mom to two adorable kiddos and she and her husband love taking them camping and enjoying the outdoors together.
Rachael Rossetti
Lead Designer
Rachael graduated from UTA with Honors in Interior Design and is a Registered Interior Designer certified by TBAE and LEED Green Associate. With a background in 3D furniture design and rendering, she specializes in space planning and creative problem-solving for both remodels and custom homes. Rachael is passionate about bringing clients’ ideas to life through thoughtful, functional design. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, two children, and fur babies.
Sarah Starnes
Client Services Director, Finishes Selection
Sarah is a creative professional with 20 years of experience in administrative, residential, and commercial contracting. Raised in a family of contractors, she developed hands-on experience early on and later built a background in color, design, and faux finish artistry. Sarah now guides clients through the design process from start to finish, serving as a liaison between the team and clients while assisting with finish selections and creative decisions. Outside of work, she enjoys adventures with her three daughters.

Brandee brings a thoughtful, organized approach to every client interaction, helping guide finish selections and day-to-day operations with care and attention to detail. Full bio coming soon.
